Agrar Jobs is an industry-specific job portal for all the companies and institutions within the agricultural sector in Switzerland.
Our process & implementation
Our part in this project involved customizing the features for the job listing platform.
First of all, we have customized the job submission form. It had to be adapted for users that want to submit job offers, as well as for users that are looking for a job. This way, we have implemented two options for each type of user. Depending on the chosen option, the user is redirected to a specific form that needs to be completed in order to submit a job offer or find a job.
Another important functionality was to adapt the job search form to Swiss geography. This was possible by adding a location filter that included each of the regions from Switzerland.
We have also customized the job description page by ensuring it provides all the necessary information to those who search for a job in the agricultural field.
Overall, we have customized the WooCommerce and WP Job Manager plugins and adapted them to the purposes of the platform. This resulted in improved user experience and, therefore, contributed to increasing conversions.
